Elder Trevon D. McClary, B.A.R, M.H.R.M, SHRM-CP
Pastor Trevon D. McClary is a dynamic spiritual leader, innovator, and accomplished professional. The son of Lakresha Bradley and Trent Tisdale, Pastor McClary grew up with four siblings and received his early spiritual foundation at Mt. Carmel Universal Methodist Church under the guidance of his great-grandmother, Mother Mary White.
Pastor McClary's educational journey is marked by exceptional achievements. A graduate of Kingstree Senior High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Pastoral Studies from Allen University in 2021, graduating as the class salutatorian with Summa Cum Laude honors. He further honed his leadership skills by obtaining a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from Webster University in 2022, again graduating Summa Cum Laude. He is also a graduate of Webster University with a graduate certificate in Organizational Change and Development. Currently, Pastor McClary is pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
In the professional realm, Pastor McClary has distinguished himself as a Certified Human Resources Professional through The Society for Human Resource Management. He is an Adjunct Instructor and serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at a local college. He has also been named the 2025 Administrator of the Year by the South Carolina Technical Education Association. He also serves as the Treasurer for Chief Human Resources Officers Peer Group for the 16 Technical Colleges in the state of South Carolina. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Human Resource Management, the Sumter Human Resources Management Association, and The National Association of African Americans in HR. Pastor McClary is also a member of the Young Professional Group of Sumter, S.C., further demonstrating his commitment to professional development and community engagement. Pastor McClary's spiritual journey began at an early age, accepting Christ at 11 and receiving his calling at 12. His ministerial career has been marked by rapid progression and significant responsibilities. At just 13, he preached his first sermon and received his ministerial license from the Way of the Cross Church of Christ, International. His subsequent roles have included National Public Evangelist for P.U.S.H Ministries, International, Co-Pastor of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church, and his current position as Pastor and Establishmentarian of Freedom Worship Center, International. In June 2024, he was appointed as the National Vice President of Christian Education with the Greater Church of Deliverance, further expanding his influence in religious education.
Pastor McClary's ministry is characterized by its transformative impact, with reports of physical healing, spiritual deliverance, and liberation from sin. His ministerial philosophy is encapsulated in his motto, "If God is in it, there's no limit," and he often cites Romans 8:28 as a guiding principle.
